Facilitated Work Based Learning (FWBL) is a new learning method emphasizing on the integration of new knowledge into the day-to-day work. The learning process is an integral part of the daily work and there will be direct use of the acquired knowledge in work-defined tasks.

Facilitated Work Based Learning not only delivers new knowledge, but also develops new competences on the company’s terms.

FWBL is well-suited for both teams and individuals.

The company’s need for competence development and new knowledge is adapted and incorporated into the company’s development process. In this way, the participants obtain the optimum work based knowledge.

The optimum type of work based learning is defined in close co-operation between the company, the employee(s) and CPD-Aalborg.

A learning contract  specifying learning targets, learning method, criteria of success, timeframe etc. is produced in collaboration. The process is adapted to the company’s and the employee’s conditions. Sequence and timeframe may be adjusted as necessary.

A CPD-Aalborg consultant can visit your company and participate in internal meeting and/or in the strategic planning of short- or long-term continuing education activities. Together, we can determine which type of continuing education corresponds to your needs, requests and objectives with regards to contents, method and duration.
