TREE - Training and Reseach in Engineering in Europe
An extensive EU-funded network of approximately 90 engineering colleges
and universities - commenced at the beginning of 2005.
The project involves a number of Special Interest Groups (SIG) and
CPD-Aalborg
is responsible for the SIG about Work Based Learning.
Budget: app. 600,000.00 €
Lonely Wolf

A Social Fund project carried out in collaboration with The Danish
Society of Engineers and the Aalborg University Network Centre. The
project commenced early 2005 and ended at year-end 2006. The focus of
the project was network-based competence development for engineers in
small enterprises with only one engineer on staff.
Budget: app. 8 million Dkr
Continuing Engineering Education as Work Based Learning
A two-year EU-project with CPD-Aalborg as project manager - completed at
year-end 2005. The project focused on developing a platform for
implementing Work Based Learning (WBL).
The project had 15 partners - of which 7 were universities.

KOKO - Identifying Learning Objectives in Continuing Engineering
Education

A project funded by The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation
with CPD-Aalborg as project manager - completed at year-end 2005. The project
focused on developing a tool of analysis to aid the process of
specifying companies’ competence development needs.
